PK Granger

About
Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, PK Granger is a writer who likes exploring the everyday and then messing it about using magic realism, absurdity or (dark) humour.
Her work has appeared in literary journals Quick Brown Dog, Flash Frontier and takahē. While attending Hagley Writers’ Institute she delved into flash fiction and writing short films and stories. For the past few years, her focus has been on completing a speculative YA novel.
A member of the New Zealand Society of Authors, in 2024, the NZSA awarded her a Complete Manuscript Assessment for her first novel.

Writing
PK Granger is the author of small fictions published in New Zealand literary journals.
This includes: The Party’s Over, Quick Brown Dog (2026); Where You Headed?, Quick Brown Dog (2025); Safety Glass, takahē magazine (2024); and Long Kiss Goodbye, Quick Brown Dog (2024).
Her flash fiction piece,Shell Game, received a highly commended in the 2023 National Flash Fiction Day (NFFD) competition and was published in Flash Frontier (2023).
